Anytime you’re feeling less than inspired by the progress of your own physical fitness, consider the story of Peter Nault.

In 1983, at the age of 23, Peter was in an accident that resulted in complete paralysis. Doctors told him he would never walk again, much less be able to speak, or feed himself, or any of the many miraculous things we take for granted every day.

What the doctors didn’t reckon was Peter’s enormous will to live – and live well. Within one year, he wasn’t just walking, he’d also relearned English and French (he’s from Ottawa, Canada) – and he’d trained himself to an extremely high level of personal fitness. Cut to 1996 when he began his career as a personal trainer. Peter was truly the best advertisement of his achievements in the arenas of health and fitness. He started applying his learnings to his clients, with programs tailored to their specific needs, and the outcome was one success story after another.

Today, Peter’s approach to his profession is defined by a simple attitude: if you don’t have fun, what’s the point? And this philosophy has shaped his quest for the past eleven years, namely that of helping clients to achieve not only their desired physical end-results, but the life-changing rewards that come from enjoying every step of the journey. This approach, along with his extensive and specialized experience, has established his popularity as a trainer to over 100 clients – which include everyone from celebrities and entertainment moguls to recovering cancer patients, senior citizens and teenagers.

Peter is certified by the AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), a member of IDEA, and is insured by the Fitness & Wellness Agency. He’s also a certified Pilates instructor. He holds advanced belts in Tae Kwon Do, and Jujitsu Heiho-Shin-Do and has trained in other Martial Arts disciplines such as Kempo, Dojo Yesakan, Kickboxing and Israeli Street Fighting.
